Social Media & You

Facebook, twitter, Buzz, tumblr, Google+, My Space and all the other media out there have became a part of our daily life. Almost all users have these or at least one of them.

I do admit that the social media made life a lot more interesting or that is from my point of view. There are many success stories, interesting ones where people found their old school friend or even member of families, those who's life changed to better or worse sometimes.

In every case there's one common thing between them, social media is becoming the new addiction for this generation. No matter how much good you get our of it, you have to remember that you are the one who controls not controlled which is most of the people are going through. Today's post is about a little to help you control this madness wave of the online society.

6 Common Do’s and Don’ts For Blogs

Consider this a friendly reminder or a refresher course for your blog. There are a few common do’s and don’ts to reflect on before you blog your next entry.

Blog Desk Logo Icon Image
Do use images: Photos, graphs, logos use them all. Always use an image of some sort for each blog entry. Having an image will add to your blog post, entertain and give your readers something to look at. You want to break up the word with an image pertaining to the post. You can use personal photos, online photos and images but be sure you credit when credit is due.

Don’t write too much: Keep it short and sweet. Nothing bores a reader faster than too many words. A decent blog post that keeps readers engaged should run anywhere from 300-600 words. Anything longer and just considers your next read a snooze fest.

Don’t forget the comments: Some bloggers forget to respond to readers’ comments and questions. Even if the comment is just to say, they enjoyed your words, say thank you! Think of your readers as customers and address all questions and suggestions quickly and positively.

A Hidden Key in Your Keyboard

Did you know there's hidden key in your keyboard that anyone hardy notices it?! It looks common and used only for one task by most of us, but it really can do more than the one task.

That hidden key would be ...

 The windows key

Here are the tasks it does:

Chocolate Banana Milkshake

As the weather got hotter these days, it's always nice to cool it with something sweet. I had a wonder milkshake at somebody's house last week and loved it so much. Did a little search on it to share it in my blog and came up with this super easy recipe to make. It's so simple that you can even make it before going to school, collage or work. Won't take more than 10 min.

This milkshake recipe is perfect for hot summer days and it's truly easy to prepare!
What I also love about it is you only need 3 ingredients!

Here I show you how to make a chocolate banana milkshake.

So I've used banana in this example, but you can use pretty much any fruit you like. Here are some ideas: raspberry, blueberry, strawberry, peach, orange. You can really diversify this recipe by choosing your type of ice cream. The two guaranteed popular choices are vanilla ice cream and chocolate ice cream. I decided to use chocolate ice cream, mmmm chocolate! Go wild and experiment with other kinds of ice cream with your fruit choice! I chose to use 2% lactose free homogenized milk (I am lactose intolerant). Another idea is to use soy milk. I've tasted a soy milk banana milkshake once and the taste was very interesting!

Total time: 10 min
Ingredients (2 servings):
2 bananas
2 cups of milk (or soy milk)
2 to 4 tablespoons of ice cream

[ReBlog] Be YOUSELF

I always remember this rule, to be myself. I've seem many these days doing their best to be someone else. Got inspired and thought of sharing my point of view on this topic. Just reblogging a post I already wrote ^^

In the internet and the real world as well I'm always seeking something special and interesting; like information, people, companies, sites or anything of that sort. There are great articles, topics of different subjects to read ~ since reading is my favorite hobby ^_^ cool sites to wonder around and interesting people to talk with .

However, as we all know, each person has his own personality and character that makes him what he is. Otherwise if everyone were the same they would lost the value and uniqueness of itself . One can have lots of talent and interesting things within him : works – studies in the same time, speaks lots of languages, wealthy, looks cool and so on. While others don't have much to talk about, they are just simple guys with few details

Life Worth Living

I'm not sure what is everyone's life status they're living but there is one thing I certainly believe that life doesn't always have the same tone. It's high then low, then again surprises come and go and so on it goes.
It's Heaven
When we know that we won a contest, a lottery or even a lover! It seems that life is all full of happiness and good stuff that we want to live everyday to the fullest. It seems so sweet like heave <3

Desperate days
Trying many times and not getting any results on them make you feel truly miserable. You wish you just didn't come to this world and wont' have to face any of these trouble. The matter gets worse when someone rude spoils your mood ever more.

Hard times
Things just keep on getting worse and worse every time. It's when the desperate days keep on for a long time you enter the hard times where you feel like you'll falling apart and there's not a single person in this world when can give you a hand that is if they consider you there in life in the first place!

More and more
We all try to have the best life style for ourselves, we work as much as we can. learn as much as possible and seek for the finest food anywhere. Sometimes, even though we're giving it all we got we just don't get satisfied with it.

Live it Today!

"Yesterday is history, tomorrow is mystery and today is a gift, that's why it's called present"

I used to read this quote and every time I didn't consider that great meaning in it. I thought it is just a saying or so but then I realized it's more than just the names given to the days.

When I actually went to the real world I noticed how busy and crowded it is. Every time when something gather up for me I keep it in the pending for tomorrow in hopes to finish it soon. Then, when the next day I find myself busy in other stuff and can't do that particular thing I left from yesterday. I then know what it means when they said it's a mystery and indeed and I can't tell what will happen tomorrow even if I put plans for it. Yesterday is of a same story. No matter how much sorry I feel for that day it will never come back and what happened just happened so it's a history now.

Whatever you have for now do it, enjoy it and live it. Cause you have no idea of what will happen tomorrow. We all will put happy and positive thoughts for it but in the same time I can't really tell what's there in the box for us. So live it today.

Mistakes and Lessons

It's when you are entrusted with a new task for the first time then you make them. It's really natural, I can't really expect someone to hit it on the first go unless he's a super talented guy.

Mistakes happen and that's a usual thing but what matters here is what you learn from those mistakes. You see, these things happen for a reason, without them we can't tell what is right and what is wrong. That experience is one of our ways to discover that out. The more you explore new things, you more you learn and mistakes are likely to happen.

Sometimes, it's not easy to tell you have mistakes or facing any trouble. You might think they'll get the impression that you are a slow learner, not good at your work, can't handle it and that sort of stuff. Bear in your mind that these are wrong thoughts. Just cause you're thinking your image will be ruined is not an excuse to make your work wrong. You have to ask, whatever is not clear to you must to explained. You can't figure things on your own, we all need tutors to teach us out how things work.

When All Troubles Gather Up

They are way too much to handle!

They just keep on coming...
One you finish solving one another comes along...
It takes all your time to work them out...
They never seem to finish on one shoot...
You have to go back to them over and over again...

When all the troubles gather up ... they fall down!

One has always got his limits, no matter how much you can handle there's a limit for that. You can take one today and another tomorrow, maybe stay calm this time then tell them not to do it again. Take it easy, a bit more, a little further more and then .... BANG! You are so done with it! So through and it's out of control

You simply will leave it thinking; (Let it happen, whatever will happen!) and walk away. It's natural since your mind is tired already and can't take much more from all this pressure. And this is how when all the troubles gather up, the fall down.

Relaxation Time

After a day full of hard work and shouting with this and that with a couple of rudeness from the ones you don't like, not to mention how much you boss didn't like your work a perfect relaxation time is what we all need.

Relaxing
Getting it Out of Mind
Even though it's your weekend, you're still thinking of what you'll do in the next day. I mean like planning for projects and schedules are something than taking your whole free time for work or something else. All work related stuff are necessary but they are to be taken care of in their time not on your time. You see the whole point is to get out of the routine atmosphere if you think and plan for it in your relaxation time what will there be to relax?!

A perfect time to free your mind and let everything go by, not in a careless way. Just plan all your stuff the day before your weekend then you can start putting stuff for your free time.

Questions You Can Never Answer

Why doesn't Tarzan have a beard?

Why do we press harder on a remote control when we know the batteries are flat?

Why do banks charge a fee on 'insufficient funds' when they know there is not enough?

What is the speed of darkness?

Why is it that people say they 'slept like a baby' when babies wake up every two hours?

If the temperature is zero outside today and it's going to be twice as cold tomorrow,
how cold will it be?

Do married people live longer than single ones or does it only seem longer?

How is it that we put man on the moon before we figured out it would be a good idea to put wheels on luggage?

Why do people pay to go up tall buildings and then put money in binoculars to look at things on the ground?

Did you ever stop and wonder....

Balancing Attitude

In general what I talk here in this blog all are about positive thoughts and inspirations to give you fresh ideas everyday. In the last post, I mentioned how it is okay to nice with people around you no matter how they treat you back but of course that is not the case every time. There's something called Balanced Attitude, where you know how to be tough without being a hard-hearten and gentle without giving everything away.

The Balancing Point

When you want to be serious in a situation you act firmly and tough with fairness. You want to have their attention and respect in the same time you don't want them to be afraid from you. Try to focus on your job, give straight orders and avoid side jokes. Do whatever they want in limits and don't let them use you. If they want something over your ability stop them right there and remind them of their place. This way you balanced being tough and justice.

No Harming Being Nice

Knowing this world you probably aware of the variety that exists. There's the good, the bad, the kind, the rude, the funny and lovable and so on. Facing a nation with undesired manners isn't any new topic for today. They were there all the time, even when you feel like you want to stop being nice just because of them or they don't deserve it, you can try one more time and be the kind person you were before.
... they are the rude ones not you!

Maybe you were that helpful person who helps anyone whenever they need it.
Or seek for those who can't finish a task on their own, a generous one perhaps.
All those good manner and things nowadays people are looking for,
so why did you stop that anyway?! Well, there could be more than an answer for that one;

Stick to It

At unexpected times in life, you get offered with real great opportunities. It might surprise and scare you at first from thinking whether or not you can handle it and do it to perfection measure. Sometimes the thought of not deserving such blessings comes to your mind, it's all natural since it can be count as happiness overloaded or fear of failure.

Either way, you should never give up such chance!

It might be a heavy task to your list of to-do and everyday work, but it will add new experience to your back of knowledge. That definitely doesn't mean you'll get it at the first go but consider mistakes in the beginning. It's normal, we are human and that's how we learn. If we never try, we'll never know what we are really capable of. Also, you might not know what the world is really like.
So, take those golden chances, carry on and stick to them!
